Astor College is looking to employ a Wellbeing & Welfare Officer to start September 2020 working within the Welfare Team to ensure all students have the opportunity and the confidence to make good choices for themselves.  The successful candidate will provide support, care and guidance for students within the college, ensuring students' emotional and wellbeing needs are being met and they are attending lessons. You will work proactively, liaising with parents and staff to support students' learning and progress and assist with students that need to be removed from lessons for behavioural or emotional reasons.

The role will be term time only KR6 (pro rata).

Information about the school

The DFAMAT comprises Astor College (Principal, Mr L Kane), White Cliffs Primary College for the Arts and Pebbles Nursery (Principal, Mrs S Knight Fotheringham), Barton Junior School (Head of School Mrs M O'Dell) and Shatterlocks Infant and Nursery School (Head of School, Mrs N Biddle) and KETV Studios.
