Harry Nye
Kent-Teach Manager
I joined the Kent-Teach team in early 2022 after having previously worked within the KCC & Schools Payroll departments. I have a newfound passion for recruitment and my aim is to make sure we bring the top talent to our amazing county and also focus on retaining that talent. Around me I have a fantastic team of experts that deliver our strong digital presence. We provide something for everyone, whether that be someone new to teaching, an experienced teacher looking for that next step, or a parent looking to get back to work after some time out, we can help you find the vacancy for you. If you any questions or queries, we’d love to hear from you!
Nikita Woodley
Wellbeing and Employee Retention Advisor
I joined a fantastic team of education and recruitment specialists in 2019 having previously worked closely with schools supporting their recruitment and retention of teachers. My position at Kent-Teach rapidly developed due to my findings in staff turnover discussions. It became apparent that positive staff wellbeing and culture was fundamental for retaining school staff and so I began to place more focus on wellbeing support in general. At the start of 2021, we created The Kent-Teach Wellbeing Team who partner with schools supporting senior leaders with their staff wellbeing initiatives. Our advice for organisations is to start small by offering your staff a voice to have open and honest conversations. We encourage schools to make changes slowly and promote wellbeing as a holistic approach using the four pillars– Mental, Physical, Financial and Social.
My specialisms are building partnerships with schools and sharing best practice for reinforcing positive staff culture and wellbeing in the workplace. Having been a Secondary teacher in Kent, I have first-hand experience working within a school environment. I’m passionate about educating our future generation and inspired to fight the teacher shortage crisis in my county. I’ll be your first point of contact if you require any assistance with staff wellbeing, it would be a pleasure to hear from you.
