We are looking for a Safeguarding Officer to join our HTSJ family where 'leaders and staff are deeply committed to serving our community' (SIAMS Inspection May 26).

The successful applicant will be a valued member of our Family Support Team.  You will play a leading role throughout the school to support the other DSLs in providing a safe environment for our pupils to flourish. The role encompasses all aspects of safeguarding including child protection, e-safety, safe working practices and staff training. You will need to develop strong partnerships with external agencies and our families to promote the wellbeing of the children in the care of our school.

Holy Trinity St. John’s CEP School is a large primary school serving the central area of the coastal town of Margate. Current number on role is 400 children aged between 4 – 11 years.
