About The Role

Ebbsfleet Green Primary School, is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our growing team.  This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers and leaders to help pupils achieve their full potential. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences, including leading whole-class sessions during teacher PPA and absence cover where appropriate
  • Support the planning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities
  • Deliver targeted interventions to accelerate progress and support pupil development
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning and meet the needs of all pupils
  • Promote pupil confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
  • Support the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its inclusive ethos
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status or an equivalent qualification
  • Has experience supporting teaching and learning within a primary school setting
  • Can confidently lead learning and manage groups of pupils independently
  • Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Is adaptable, organised and proactive
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Works effectively as part of a team
  • Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child succeeds
