Repton Manor Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Site Manager to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to play a key role in maintaining and developing our school environment, ensuring it remains safe, secure and welcoming for all members of our community.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school site, buildings and grounds. You will oversee maintenance, health and safety compliance, security, contractors and cleaning arrangements, while contributing to the strategic development of the school estate.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has practical experience in premises management, maintenance or a relevant trade.
  • Has a sound understanding of health and safety legislation, including COSHH, Legionella, asbestos and fire safety requirements.
  • Can undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks confidently and safely.
  • Is able to manage contractors and monitor the quality of their work.
  • Has excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Can work independently while also being an effective member of a wider team.
  • Has strong communication skills and can build positive relationships with staff, pupils, families and external partners.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead on all aspects of premises management, security and site maintenance.
  • Act as a key holder and respond to emergency situations as required.
  • Ensure statutory compliance checks are completed and accurately recorded.
  • Support the delivery of school events and lettings.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance contracts and site-related budgets.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and secure learning environment for all.
