Headcorn Primary School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our hard-working, fun-loving team in our two-form entry primary school as a Personal Care Assistant.

The successful applicant will be someone who loves to inspire and support our children and is a willing team player. You should be a highly efficient, flexible and reliable person. 

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in, or have experience working with, primary-aged children with medical and physical needs. Applicants should be willing to support children who require a range of personal, hygiene and medical care, including nappy changing, hoisting, lifting, PEG feeding and other eating assistance, catheterisation, medication administration, and mobility and physical support throughout the school environment.

Previous experience working with children or adults with medical and/or physical needs would be advantageous; however, we also welcome applications from individuals who are keen to develop their skills and knowledge in this area. We are committed to supporting the professional development of all staff and will provide comprehensive training to ensure the confidence, competence, and skills needed to fulfil this role successfully.

We need someone who can work from 9/9.30am to 2/2.30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break Monday to Friday, term time only.
