We are looking to appoint a part-time art technician to support teaching and learning within our art department. The role requires a well organised person with good art knowledge and practical experience. The post holder will support the art department in preparing for lessons and will assist in the general organisation of the art room, stock and resources whilst also offering technical assistance.

The successful candidate will be required to work 15 hours per week over 2 days, (Thursday and Friday) term time (currently 38 weeks per year), plus 15 hours in the school summer holidays.  The starting annual salary will be paid at Kent Scheme B - £9,520 p.a. pro rata (FTE £26,822).

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
