Advert

We have a maternity cover vacancy for a teaching assistant to work in our Key stage 2 mixed age class. Platts Heath is a friendly small school within the ASPIRE federation. Being part of a federation means that professional development opportunities are wider and staff have the chance to work with a larger team.

The role will involve supporting identified pupils in delivering the National Curriculum. There may also be additional intervention programmes that will need to be delivered which may involve group work with other peers.

This is a part time role for 3 days a week, supporting the pupils both in the classroom and at lunch time. We are looking for interested candidates that would be available to start from 1st September 2026.

Platts Heath is a small primary school with three mixed age classes. We are an Active Learning and Nurture Accredited school that puts the well-being of its pupils and staff at the heart of all we do.

Please contact dwaters@aspire-kent.org.uk to visit the school or if you have any questions about the vacancy.
