4 Pillars of Wellbeing

Looking after your employee’s health and wellbeing is vital for employee engagement and organisational performance. Supporting staff across all pillars of wellbeing is essential for improving morale and critical for recruiting and retaining quality education staff. It is a legal duty and part of Ofsted’s inspection handbook to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their employees.

When people face challenges in life this can impact other areas of their health.  An employee may struggle with personal difficulties, relationships, financial difficulties, or bereavement at any point in their lives and this can sometimes impact them in the workplace. To improve employee wellbeing, we need to take account of all factors which can influence it. There has recently been a shift in how we perceive our wellbeing, employers are taking a more holistic approach ‘whole person’.

Our Wellbeing Programme is supports schools to design a programme which is based on the 4 pillars of wellbeing :

Mental
Physical
Social
Financial
