Recruitment and Retention Hub - Video 1

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a huge impact on the education system. The Teacher Wellbeing Index 2020 found that 52% of education staff have considered leaving the profession over the past two years due to mental health and wellbeing. If teachers leave, the shortage crisis will deteriorate, and the quality of our education staff will decline. We need to be focusing on initiatives to retain our staff and all education departments must implement a clear plan for recruiting new talent.

Having a clear recruitment plan will support you with attracting the right candidates for your school. We have put together a guidance video with a step by step on what to include in a recruitment plan.
