“We have some really fun activities arranged at Howletts Wild Animal Park for the school summer holidays with our costume character days. Not only can people come and see our 150th baby Gorilla, get up close and personal with lemurs in the Lemur Walk and visit our amazing herd of elephants, but they can come and meet their favourite TV characters!”

Terms & Conditions:

1. Open to UK residents only. 

2. Entrants must be 18 or over. 

3. Competition opens at 4:00pm GMT on Monday 17th July 2023 and closes at 11:00am GMT on Friday 28th July 2023. Entries made after this time will not be counted. 

4. Entries to be made via the comments of the Facebook competition post on the Kent-Teach Facebook page (any and all entries on other social media platforms and the Kent School Jobs Facebook page will not be counted). 

5. One entry per user. Multiple entries from one person will not be counted. 

6. Entries containing inappropriate, offensive, or abusive imagery or language will not be counted. 

7. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

8. The prize is as stated: Day entrance tickets to Howletts Wild Animal Park for a maximum of four people total. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. 

9. Kent-Teach and Howletts Wild Animal Park reserve the right to cancel or amend the giveaway and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Kent-Teach’s control. Any changes to the giveaway will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 

10. The winner will be randomly selected by an online generator, featuring entrant names, comments and Facebook profile images. This process may be recorded and posted on our social media channels. By entering this competition, you are consenting to this.

11. The winner will be contacted via direct message on Facebook after the draw on Friday 28th July 2023. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not provide the required details by 11:59pm on Monday 31st July 2023, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The required details to be sent in this time are the name and email address in which they would like to receive their tickets. 

12. Kent-Teach will send a voucher or vouchers for tickets to Howletts Wild Animal Park to the winner of the competition. Vouchers are for the winning name to redeem only and not for resale. Tickets to be used by Sunday 31st December 2023 and cannot be used on promotional event days.

13. The winner may not make amendments to their tickets through Kent-Teach. Once the ticket vouchers have been sent by Kent-Teach, any requests to change the date of visit, quantity or receive a refund will not be accepted. 

14. Kent-Teach is not liable and will not take any responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, or injury that may occur whilst at Howletts Wild Animal Park.  

15. All entrants agree that if they win, they may be featured and tagged on our social media channels, including their names and Facebook profile pictures. 

16. By entering this competition, the entrant is agreeing to these terms and conditions.
