We are a 7 class Church of England primary school situated in a very rural setting. Children are happy and well-motivated. Ofsted described their behaviour as exemplary. Academic standards are high.

We are part of the Village Academy which comprises of six schools.

We adopt a common sense approach to education with a minimum of bureaucracy. Parents and Directors are very supportive of the school.

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher for April 2019 which will include a 2 day teaching commitment. The successful candidate will be dynamic and have experience of effective leadership in delivering successful outcomes in a number of roles. Experience of leading sport provision would be desirable. You will provide support to the Executive Head teacher with the operational day to day running of the school and management of staff.

Our nurturing and inclusive school is in Selling, a small village situated between the historic market town of Faversham and the village of Sheldwich in Kent. It benefits from good access from Faversham, Canterbury and Ashford. Equally, we are lucky to be surrounded by orchards and beautiful views of The Downs which further enrich our curriculum and pastoral offer. We seek to offer our children a holistic, rich and exciting learning experience which encourages them to grow into independent and curious learners.
