Churchill Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Deputy Headteacher who can build on the current strengths of the school and enrich and enhance the provision for all pupils. You will:

be an outstanding classroom practitioner who leads by example and is an inspiration to colleagues;

understand how to build and strengthen a rich, rigorous and exciting curriculum;

have successful leadership experience and a proven track record of raising standards for all pupils;

be passionate about ensuring that our vulnerable pupils get the best possible start in education;

be able to forge positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents, and work in collaboration with Governors;

be committed to being the best you can be and continuing your own professional development.

have a secure understanding of Inclusion and Safeguarding, including tracking pupil achievement robustly and using data to inform strategic planning;

be committed to, or sympathetic to, the Christian faith, able to lead worship with authenticity and value wholeheartedly our Christian ethos.

be proud of and promote our committment to diversity and equality.

Information about the school

We are proud of our fabulous one-form entry primary school, which serves the community of Westerham, a charming market town in Kent. The school, which is situated in amazing grounds, attained Ofsted "Good" in Jan 2020, and is continuing to grow from strength to strength.

We provide a safe and caring environment for our children where they can thrive, whilst promoting Christian and British values. Naturally the children are considered to be our greatest asset, which ensures they are at the heart of our strategic and operational decision making. The school fosters an ethos where our pupils are keen to learn, well-behaved and a joy to teach.
