5 Valentine's Day Date Ideas At Leeds Castle

Valentine's Day is coming up and we are here to spread the love. Have a look at some of the ways you could make Valentine's Day special for your special someone. 

Here are 5 date ideas at one of Kent's most wonderful landmarks, Leeds Castle:

1) Picnic in picturesque places

Leeds Castle has a myriad of places to lay down a blanket and relax. Watch the world pass by and the new flowers bloom as you sit back, relax and enjoy each other's company. Nothing says romance like a thoughtful picnic hamper full of your loved one's favourite treats. If you're more of a spontaneous type, there are catering kiosks located around the estate to cover your food and drink needs.

2) Walk with wildflowers

With 500 acres of English parkland, Leeds Castle has a beautiful backdrop for a stroll with your valentine. There are 3 self guided routes that span different lengths and visit breathtaking beauty spots across the grounds. A perfect time of year to enjoy a warm beverage and a stroll. 

3) Divine Dining

Enjoy delicious dishes with incredible views from the Castle View Restaurant. After a day about the grounds, why not book in for a treat for the taste buds. Whether it is lunch, dinner or afternoon tea, Castle View Restaurant has a wonderful ambience and stunning views of the castle.

4) Boats, birds and banter

If you want a relaxing ride on the water, use the Black Swan Ferry to travel from the Boathouse Cafe to the maze. Enjoy the views as you make your way to the North-East of the estate where you can watch the daily falconry display. If you and your partner have a competitive edge, have a game of mini-golf or see who can be the quickest to the centre of the maze! 

5) Sensational sleepovers

From lakeside views in a hot tub, to glamping fit for a knight of the realm, why not spend the night at Leeds Castle? With a stay to suit everyone, carve out some time for you and your loved one to enjoy a night away.
