Building upon last year’s success, Kent Sport would like to invite all Primary Schools in Kent and Medway to its annual Primary PE Conference. With the revised Ofsted framework released, its set to be a productive and informative day.

Speakers include:

  • ‘What should PE look like under the revised Ofsted framework’, delivered by Steve Caldecott, the lead PE Ofsted Inspector.
  • ‘Tackling whole school improvement through the power of PE & Sport’, an opportunity to hear from head teacher James Kendall from Riverview Junior School.
  • ‘Engaging the local Community’, delivered by YST Lead Inclusion School Greenfields Community Primary.
  • ‘Primary Premium for new PE Subject Leads’, hear about ways to ensure maximum impact and sustainability

We are pleased to announce that Ben Smith, the man who ran 401 marathons in 401 days will be with us for the afternoon. Alongside YST Ben has developed an educational programme called the ‘Journey to Wellbeing’ empowering young people to take a lead in improving wellbeing for themselves, their class and their school. An inspirational speech not to be missed.

The conference will feature the popular marketplace for you to explore products and services designed specifically for the PE and sport premium fund. There will also be opportunities to network with other schools to share good practice and discuss any challenges faced.

Lunch will be provided on the day and sports premium funding can be used if your school requires a substitute teacher to cover your absence.
