NSPCC Number Day Posted on 1 February 2016 by Rebecca - Kent-Teach in General *** This blog post has been updated*** The NSPCC is the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. The charity provides a range of services in the UK and Channel Islands that help children and young people rebuild their lives, protect those in danger and find solutions to prevent abuse from ever happening. NSPCC Number Day is a nationwide mathematics fundraising event held this Friday 3rd February 2017. Schools are encouraged to take part in Number Day by raising money through a fun-filled day of maths activities to positively influence children and engage them in the wonderful subject. Your support will count whether you devote the whole school day or have a 60-minute maths session, all of which will be in aid of raising funds for the wonderful charity. If your school is keen to participate then register here to gain access to a number of activities and learning resources to help you provide a quality and educational learning experience on the day.
