“Enjoyment is at the heart of all we achieve”
Ridge View is an ambitious, successful and outstanding school for children and young people aged 2-19 with profound, severe and complex needs, many of whom have a diagnosis of autism.
We are currently on an exciting journey. In September 2017 we will move to South Tonbridge (near Judd school) into an amazing state of the art multimillion pound purpose built school, complete with woodland walk and life skills house.
In addition we will also be opening a new satellite provision within a local mainstream primary school in Kent.
Ridge View invests in employing the best staff and in training them to achieve in their respective roles. We strive to engage staff who are self-motivated, professional and ambitious for all of the children and young people who attend.
We are members of KASS (Kent Association of Special Schools) which comprises of 24 special schools across Kent. Ridge View is also part of the Collaborative Learning Alliance of Special Schools (CLASS) Multi-teaching School Alliance.
We are looking for exceptional people to join our team who are able to demonstrate belief in our school culture and ethos; have a passion for working with children and young people with special needs as well as passion, creativity and energy.
In return, we are able to offer friendly, enthusiastic and delightful pupils and a committed, supportive and motivated staff team who are dedicated in providing the best education and support to all the pupils who attend Ridge View.
At Ridge View we strive to enable all pupils to achieve their maximum potential. We have high expectations for all pupils and endeavour to ensure that individual needs, interests and abilities are met.
We celebrate difference and encourage curiosity and creativity. We work hard to enable our pupils to be independent, resilient and able to make positive life choices.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join the school at a very exciting time when we are expanding provision and pupil numbers.
