Riverview Infant School
Gravesend
School Description
School Description:
Riverview Infant School is a large four form entry infant school with an increasingly diverse community where exemplary staff are dedicated to ensuring that the time children spend there is successful and remembered fondly. Leaders and staff believe learning should be enjoyable to engage and motivate children, building on and consolidating the unique set of experiences that each child brings. Children are at the heart of the school, encouraged to persevere and to be aspirational in their learning, as well as to actively contribute to their community, in essence equipping them to be valuable citizens for the future.
Riverview has high expectations for the children in its care, not only for academic success but in all aspects of personal achievement.
We are now part of The Golden Thread Alliance and we work closely with the other schools in the trust.
The Golden Thread Alliance consists of nine schools:
Culverstone Green Primary School, Fleetdown Primary Academy, Meopham Community Academy, Oakfield Primary Academy, Riverview Infant School, Riverview Junior School, Temple Hill Primary Academy, West Hill Primary Academy and Wrotham Road Primary School.
