The Whinless Down Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an outstanding Leader of Learning for Key Stage 1 across the schools within The Trust. This position is non-classed based for a lead practitioner to deliver outstanding lessons, inspire and support the development of colleagues and secure outstanding outcomes for all pupils. However, if needed some cover maybe required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that:

  • You are able to lead and support staff to ensure at least good teaching
  • You can engage and inspire pupils, set high expectations
  • You have the ability and drive to raise standards and provide evidence of this
  • You are excited by thinking innovatively and working as part of an effective team and confident to embrace change

You will be:

  • Supported by The Trustees, the Executive Headteacher and all colleagues to enable you to be the best you can be.
  • Warmly greeted by our pupils and parents alike.
  • Provided with comprehensive CPD opportunities
  • Integral to the Senior Leadership Teams across the schools
  • Working in close collaboration with the Key Stage 2 Leader of Learning

Information about the trust

The Whinless Down Academy Trust aims to provide excellent opportunities for local children, in local schools, run by local people. It is a primary school only Trust, based in Dover, Kent, comprising of Vale View, Priory Fields and St Martin's. Collaborative working is integral to our trust approach, and we continue to support and learn from each other.
