Selling CEP School is looking for a calm and patient person to support a group of children in Key Stage 1. Prior experience of working with children with additional needs, including ASD will be advantageous. You will be supported by the class teacher and Senco but may need to use your initiative to make each learning opportunity as beneficial as possible. The position is full time and you would be working alongside a team of hard working, dedicated staff who put the needs of the children first.

You will need to be educated to GCSE level and have attained Level C or above (or equivalent) in both Maths and English. You will also need to be flexible, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour.

We are committed to the highest standards in safeguarding procedures. The successful candidate will be subject to appropriate DBS checks. References may be requested prior to interview - please indicate on the application form if you do not wish this to be the case. We are an equal opportunities employer.

This is a fixed term appointment until August 2022, but may be extended dependent on the renewal of HNF. A telephone conversation with the Headteacher is welcomed prior to application.
