We are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our strong and committed team in our new Nursery. Bapchild and Tonge CE (Aided) Primary School took over the Nursery in January 2021 and working alongside the Early Years Teacher and team. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a real contribution to our Nursery children with our bespoke curriculum that fosters a love of play, learning and a passion for investigation and enquiry.
You will be passionate about working with children, watching them develop under your care and looking to continue your career. You will support other Early Practitioners, lead in the absence of the teacher and will be a driven and committed individual with a child centred approach with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years education or equivalent.

Bapchild and Tonge CE (Aided) Primary School and Nursery is a one form entry through primary school with 207 pupils currently on roll and a Nursery with up to 24 places per session. The School took over the Nursery in January 2021 and has been working hard to invest in new toys, resources and improve the room environment. The school is on the outskirts of Sittingbourne and part of the Rural Swale Collaboration Group (RSCG) of schools. Parents and children describe the school as having a friendly atmosphere and our pupils enjoy coming to school. Our Ofsted inspection (July 2019) said that the school is good and commented that there 'is a strong sense of community permeates the school, providing care and support for pupils, their families and staff'. SIAMS in February, 2017 graded us as Outstanding overall.
