                                                                           GOVERNOR VACANCY

                                                                           MAKE A DIFFERENCE …….

‘Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor; that the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine; that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation.

It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given that separates one person from another’.

Nelson Mandela

The Pathway Academy Trust (TPAT) is a small Gravesham Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) comprising of five amazing primary schools (Culverstone Green Primary School, Riverview Infant & Junior schools, Wrotham Road Primary School and Meopham Community Academy), working collaboratively to improve outcomes for children from our communities.

Each of our schools is unique, with their own character, but they all subscribe to the aim of our Trust; to ensure that the achievements of the children are the best they can be. All of our Trust schools are happy inclusive learning spaces, who are currently looking for like-minded volunteers to join their Local Governing Bodies.

The work of The Pathway Academy Trust (TPAT) is underpinned by four core values:

  • ASPIRATION – Has an understanding of excellence
  • COLLABORATION – Is a team-player working towards shared goals
  • RESPECT – Displays tolerance of the beliefs and viewpoints of others
  • INSPIRATION – Is committed to the vision and works tirelessly to achieve it

‘Great governance makes change happen and is fundamental to success’

Sir David Carter, National Schools Commissioner (NSC) 2016 – 2018

Our Trust value its hard-working and dedicated staff, ensuring effective staff retention and recruitment and our schools are well thought of in their communities.

We are looking to recruit governors for our schools who can work collaboratively with our Senior Leaders to champion their children and support them to address the challenges schools face.

You do not need any special qualifications, just a passion to make a difference to the lives of children and staff.

We encourage applications from all members of society, irrespective of gender, background, culture, ethnicity, disability or age (as long as you are over 18).

If you feel school governance is for you then please contact Ron Dale (Clerk and Company Secretary) for further information at ron.dale@tpat.co.uk or Nicole Caulfield (Deputy CEO) nicole.caulfield@tpat.co.uk
