Riverview Infant School
Riverview Infant School is a large four form entry infant school with an increasingly diverse community where exemplary staff are dedicated to ensuring that the time children spend there is successful and remembered fondly. Leaders and staff believe learning should be enjoyable to engage and motivate children, building on and consolidating the unique set of experiences that each child brings.
Children are at the heart of the school, encouraged to persevere and to be aspirational in their learning, as well as to actively contribute to their community, in essence equipping them to be valuable citizens for the future. Riverview has high expectations for the children in its care, not only for academic success but in all aspects of personal achievement.

The Pathway Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role will involve contact with children, referred to as regulated activity, therefore all applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
The Pathway Academy Trust, an equal opportunities employer, values the diversity of our workforce and the knowledge of our people.
