EAL LAC Pastoral Support Manager

SAT Support Staff Scale - Band 5

£13,805 - £14,851 per annum (£18,704 to £20,121 FTE)

31.75 hours per week

39 working weeks – term time plus 5 staff development days

We would like to appoint a new Pastoral Support Manager to work with our EAL and LAC students.

The successful candidate will have a positive, cheerful attitude and excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with young people and professionals. They should be able to work independently and under pressure. The capacity to work methodically with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

The post encompasses a wide range of pastoral responsibilities, including meeting with parents/carers and representatives from external agencies, therefore the role comes with an expectation of professional standards as well as administrative capacity.

They also commented on how, “Pupils are proud of how tolerant and supportive their school is” and that, “The vast majority of pupils behave well in school”. The school was graded as “Good” for the third successive inspection.
