After 9 happy years at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Crowborough, East Sussex, our current headteacher has secured a promotion and will be moving on to a larger school in September 2019.  The governors of St Mary’s therefore seek to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational headteacher to lead our friendly and successful school.  

We are looking for someone who believes that every child can achieve and is a real enthusiast for child-centred learning. It is important to us that the leader we appoint will be committed to continuing to move the school forward whilst at the same time ensuring the wellbeing of children and staff. 

We are looking for a leader who:

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a one form entry primary school in Crowborough, East Sussex. Our school is centrally located in Crowborough. The town itself is situated at the edge of Ashdown Forest in the High Weald Area of National Beauty. It is 7 miles south west of Tunbridge Wells and 16 miles north east of Lewes.

Everyone in the St Mary’s community (which includes: pupils, staff, parents, carers and governors) is extremely proud of our school which has a friendly, nurturing and welcoming environment.
