St Augustine Academy requires a Learning Support Assistant with experience of working in a secondary school.

 

This is a Full- time, Term Time only, Plus INSET Days post, 37  hours per week (working 8am – 4, Monday – Thursday  and 8am – 3.30pm on a Friday with half an hour lunch break).   

 

Pay Spine:   SAA Band 3 pt 7 – 11 £14,615 - £15,377 (FTE £17,068 - £17,957)*

*Pay is subject  to a Pay and Grading Review, currently being undertaken.

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant.

 

The aim is to support students so that they may achieve their academic potential. Emphasis is placed on the appropriate personalised strategies and interventions for each student, which will enable them to successfully manage their social and emotional development.

Applicants will need to integrate within our friendly team as well as needing excellent communication skills to develop a good relationship with students and staff.
