School Cleaner

15 hours per week for 42 weeks per annum (term-time plus 15 additional days during school holidays)

Monday – Thursday 17:00 – 20:00; Friday 15:00 – 18:00

Band 2 - £14,856 – £15,253 (£5,,444.72 - £5,689.18 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a cleaner. Previous experience of cleaning in a similar setting would be useful but is not essential; full training will be provided. Above all, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and reliable individual who is able to work to deadlines. The work of our cleaning staff is highly valued by the leadership team and is integral to our success as we continue on our journey towards becoming an outstanding school.

This was reflected in our March 2023 Ofsted inspection report that states how, “Staff have high aspirations for what all pupils can learn and achieve. This level of ambition is evident throughout the school”. They also commented on how, “Pupils are proud of how tolerant and supportive their school is” and that, “The vast majority of pupils behave well in school”. The school was graded as “Good” for the third successive inspection.
