About the Role

  • Empower staff with the tools and confidence to support complex needs
  • Ensure every pupil feels understood, valued, and supported

Attendance

  • Break down barriers by working closely with families and external agencies
  • Champion re-engagement with education for our most vulnerable learners

Safeguarding

  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL
  • Ensure safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do
  • Build a strong culture of vigilance, care, and professional curiosity

Why Join Us?

  • Transformational impact – your work will change lives every day
  • Dedicated, supportive team – work alongside skilled and passionate professionals
  • Leadership development – opportunities to grow and shape whole-school strategy
  • Values-driven environment – inclusion, respect, and resilience at our core
  • Rated as a 'good' school - Ofsted 8 and 9 October 2024

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a leader who is:

  • An inspirational senior Leader with high expectations and a relentless belief in every young person
  • Experienced in working with vulnerable pupils, ideally in PRU, alternative provision or similar settings
  • Skilled in behaviour leadership and trauma-informed practice
  • Knowledgeable and confident in safeguarding and multi-agency working
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to lead with compassion and clarity under pressure

Most importantly, you are someone who refuses to give up on children, no matter the barriers they face.
