We are looking for a full time Key Stage 1 class teacher to join us on a permanent contract from 1 September 2026. 

This role is particularly suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT1/ECT2). Please state your curriculum strengths within your application, as all teachers beyond their first ECT year, lead a subject. The closing date for applications is 09:00 on Tuesday 21st April with interviews scheduled for the Friday 24th April.

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.

The school is well resourced with many facilities including: a library, computing suite and extensive grounds with a wildlife and outdoor learning area. We offer a wide variety of clubs for children to enrich their learning.

We had a successful two day OFSTED inspection in May 2025 with a grading of 'good' in all areas.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
