We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team. Working in a busy environment, you will play a key role in helping to prepare meals for our students and staff, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of food
  • Ensuring kitchen is clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
  • Operating kitchen equipment (e.g. dishwasher, ovens) safely and responsibly
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Supporting the catering team in delivering a high-quality meal service to students
  • Washing up and general cleaning duties

What We are Looking For:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a friendly manner
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

The full time equivalent is £24,800 which will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

The successful candidate will have an attention to detail, will work to a high standard, and will seek to ensure a positive educational environment through their work. In return, The Royal Harbour Academy offers a wide variety of benefits, details of which are outlined below:
