St. Michael’s Prep School is currently seeking a temporary part-time teacher of PE to instruct curriculum-based sports, including Hockey, Netball, Football, Rugby, Cricket, and Athletics. The role also involves motivating and guiding teams during the weekly fixtures for pupils in Key Stage 1, 2, and 3.

Preferred qualifications include experience in competitive sports and regular coaching in one or two of these key sports. The successful candidate will also have QTS and will form part of our Prep Staff Teaching team.

It would be advantageous for applicants to possess a minimum Level 2 coaching award in one or more of the curriculum-based sports and a proven track record of delivering exceptional teaching and coaching.

This presents an outstanding opportunity for teachers and coaches to work in a superb location and become an integral part of the St. Michael’s PE team and teaching team. We are looking for an innovative, inspiring teacher with energy and enthusiasm to join our school.

St Michael's Prep School is a co-educational day school, meeting all the required standards. We were additionally awarded ‘significant strength’ in relation to pupil leadership. as part of our most recent ISI inspection in May 2024.
