Coppice Primary Partnership (CPP) is a primary-focused Multi Academy Trust, currently comprising three schools – Coxheath Primary, Loose Primary, and St Katherine’s School & Nursery – with plans to grow further.

We are seeking Clerks to Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) to provide high-quality administrative and governance support at school level.

Salary: Kent Scheme E (£27,852 – £29,716 pro rata)

Hours: c. 50 hours per annum per school (flexible – role can cover one or multiple schools)

Location: West Kent – Coxheath, Loose, and Snodland

This role includes:

· Preparing agendas with the LGB Chair and Headteacher.

· Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are tracked.

· Advising governors on compliance with the Trust’s Scheme of Delegation and statutory requirements.

· Maintaining registers of interests, attendance records, and training logs.

· Supporting governor induction and CPD records.

The role can be appointed for one school only or cover multiple schools within the Trust, depending on availability and capacity.

 

What We’re Looking For

· Strong organisational and administrative skills.

· Clear written communication and attention to detail.

· Ability to work with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

· Availability for in-person evening meetings, usually 5:00pm or 5:30pm, lasting about two hours.
