An incredible opportunity has arisen for a practising Catholic to join the supportive, hardworking and committed staff of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Gillingham, Kent as the school's new headteacher.  St Mary’s is a voluntary aided, two-form entry school with a nursery.  The school has been judged “Good” in the Ofsted Inspection 2023 and “Good” in the Section 48 Diocesan Inspection 2024.

 

St Mary’s wishes to appoint an ambitious and innovative Headteacher for this rewarding role.  We are seeking a strong leader and team player who will nurture the children and lead the staff to excel.  This person needs to be dynamic, collaborative and a practising Catholic.  Someone who has the passion and vision to drive rapid school improvement, further raise the quality of education for all pupils and contribute to our local school Community.

We are keen to appoint a Headteacher that ensures the curriculum is a broad and balanced one, rooted in Gospel values.  The successful candidate needs to be able to further build a culture of learning and aspiration that will see our children grow and contribute as active members of society.
