A Role with Real Impact and Job Satisfaction

Our support staff are highly valued members of our school community, and we know they make a significant difference to the learning experience of our children.

We are seeking a dedicated After School Club Supervisor who is passionate about children’s well-being. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building positive relationships and encouraging children to develop their skills and abilities. A genuine enthusiasm for engaging in activities with children and being a strong role model is essential.

At St Nicholas-at-Wade CEP School, our After School Club team work with polite, happy children who are eager to be the best they can be. This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with a fantastic team of staff who support and care for one another. We are proud of our supportive leadership team, who work to empower our staff and help them excel.

We are establishing an After School Club to complement our successful Breakfast Club, creating a 'home-from-home' experience for our children. We want our hardworking parents to feel confident and reassured that their children are cared for in a warm, purposeful environment by caring, fun, and responsive adults.

"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up activities, games, and resources

  • Supporting homework and reading

  • Leading outdoor activities and sports

  • Responding to children's needs

  • Providing a light supper (provided by the school)

  • Ensuring the safe handover of children to parents and carers

Hours: 3:00pm – 5:45pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that we reserve the right to review applications as they are received and may conduct interviews prior to the advertised closing date.
