We are a small but ambitious Multi-Academy Trust consisting of 3 primary schools with Trust Offices currently based in Loose. We now seek a dynamic and forward thinking Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) to join and grow with our team.

If you are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children, have a strategic mindset and offer financial and operational leadership experience, ideally from the education sector, then join our team and help us shape a sustainable future for our Trust.

In your role you will work closely with the Trust Leader/CEO, Head Teachers and Trustees. The work is varied and challenging covering the day-to-day management of all non-education areas from Finance, HR, through risk management to supporting the development and delivery of Trust strategy. In short, your role in managing the Trust’s financial and physical resources effectively is key to ensuring that we become sustainable and that every child has an opportunity to succeed.

This role offers the unique opportunity to:

  • Advise Headteachers on Financial and Operational matters
  • Support strategic decision making that benefits children in our  schools
  • Work within a close-knit team where your voice matters
  • Contribute to the long-term sustainability and success of schools that are deeply rooted in their communities
  • Be part of the Trust’s Executive Leadership Team

Key Attributes include:

  • A proven track record of financial leadership
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and risk management
  • The ability to communicate clearly complex financial information to a range of stakeholders, including non-financial colleagues and governors

Information about the federation

Our 3 schools are Coxheath Primary School, Loose Primary School and St Katherine’s School and Nursery in Snodland. Our work within Coppice is built upon a passionate belief that all children can produce exceptional outcomes.
