Job Opportunity: Cleaner

Salary: WAT Grade B pt.2 (FTE £23,656) - actual salary is dependent on mutually agreed working hours.

Contract: Part-time, permanent, Term time plus all inset days. Additional weeks available up to 42 working weeks.

Hours: Negotiable (working pattern: 5:30am - 8:00am and/or 3:30pm – 6:00pm)

St Augustine Academy is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and supportive learning environment for our students and staff. We are looking for a reliable and diligent Cleaner to join our team and help maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensuring surfaces, floors, and windows are spotless and well-maintained.
  • Handling cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the site team.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness of the entire academy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar cleaning role preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow health and safety protocols.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
