Location: To work across all sites across The Stour Academy Trust

Hours: 37 hours per week (8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Finishing at 4pm one day per week)

KR9 salary is based on working a full year, with annual leave being granted during school holidays of 29 days + bank holidays

We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Professional to undertake the lead on our speech and language strategy across The Stour Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist. 

 Job Purpose

  • To support the early identification of speech, language and/or communication needs
  • To develop personalised strategies to support individual children's speech, language and/or communication needs
  • To provide intervention and evaluate outcomes
  • To work with class teachers to facilitate a united approach between intervention and classroom practice
  • To work closely with families and advise on strategies that could help at home
  • To support and enable teaching assistants carrying out speech, language and/ or communication interventions 
  • To maintain accurate records, reports and other paperwork
  • To work in partnership with other professionals 
  • To work with the school SENDCo in prioritising caseload
