Chilmington Green Primary School
Chilmington Green Primary School is a large primary school on the new Chilmington Green development in Ashford.
It is operating as a one form entry school for children of primary age (4–11-year-olds), with the exception of Reception year, which allows two forms of entry, allowing for 60 Year R pupils to join the school each year. The newly opened school nursery now inhabits a dedicated space for up to 26 nursery aged children (2, 3 and 4-year-olds) per session and also includes a Specialist Resource Provision for up to 14 pupils who have an Education Health Care Plan for Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
At full capacity, the school has sufficient space to offer 420 primary school places to children in the local area and has 14 classrooms, a library, nurture room, multi-use games area plus a large hall and sports field available to hire by the community.
The school is a member of The Stour Academy Trust, a forwarding thinking Multi Academy Trust of primary schools that are transforming that way that children learn in order to better prepare them for the 21st century.
