We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring person to join us. We wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work as part of our team, covering classes and supporting the work of our teachers.

Cover Supervisors are an essential part of the team within our school. The post holder will supervise lessons at short notice and from time-to-time may take on longer cover assignments, ensuring that the learning objectives set by the teacher are achieved and that good behaviour by the students is maintained throughout lessons.

You will be required to cover all subjects as a floating teacher. We are seeking strong candidates with a high level of initiative and strong classroom management skills. You will be an enthusiastic individual who is able to use your own initiative whilst also being able to relate well and establish a rapport with young people. You will need to be flexible and able to work constructively as a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities. You may also be required to participate in development and training opportunities as and when they arise.

We are looking for someone with commitment, energy and drive to work closely with our teaching staff to provide postitive learning experiences and outcomes for our students.

The post could be suitable for experienced HLTA or for someone embarking on a route into teaching.
