The Enterprise Learning Alliance is seeking to appoint a dynamic self-motivated and experienced school receptionist to provide full administrative support to the school. 

The receptionist will work closely with the Head of Centre to ensure all information related to pupils is recorded accurately and management information systems are kept up to date. To manage the school diary, liaise with schools and other agencies and make contact with parents / carers. To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school and present a professional image of ELA to stakeholders.

The receptionist will welcome pupil’s staff and visitors to the building. Uphold the school ethos in all your activities and support the schools continuos improvement.

At the Enterprise Learning Alliance (ELA) we recognise that pupils who attend the school exhibit a wide range of both emotional and educational needs, which by their very nature can impinge negatively upon their progress.  

The intent is always to provide them with the highest quality provision.  

The ELA provides a curriculum which is enriched by a range of planned activities and experiences to enhance learning and personal development so that all young people:

The ELA places great value on it's staff well-being. The school has an acitive wellbeing committe that plans various events activities to enhance staff wellbeing, but also makes suggestions to the school about how to improve the working enviroment of the school.

The school has also recently appointed a mental health and wellbeing lead to support both staff and pupils.

All staff who have been with the school for six months are currently entitled to free health care through Benendan or a local gym membership.

We are committed to developing our staff and invest in high quality individualised CPD delivered internally and through external providers.

The Enterprise Learning Alliance is an innovative school that offers students across all Key Stages an involving, engaging and broad curriculum. The School has educational provision in both the Thanet and Dover District

Working closely with local schools and agencies, the school operates across several sites in the Thanet and Dover area providing individual learning pathways to allow pupils to achieve positive outcomes.

The Enterprise Learning Alliance educates pupils between the ages of 11-16 in both full time and respite education. The school has also developed an innovative and successful outreach service for local schools.

Being rated as good in its last Ofsted in 2019 inspection the Enterprise Learning Alliance is dedicated to the development of good and outstanding teaching and learning.
