Joydens Wood Junior School are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to provide for the educational, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development for each individual child in their class and to support the overall development of the school. You will need to be caring, hardworking, willing to undergo training and most of all, enjoy working with children.

We are keen to find a candidate who has experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and, if possible, has some background knowledge of Speech and Language as well as delivering Phonics. 

We are seeking a teaching assistant who:

Information about the school

Joydens Wood Junior School is located in a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of London. We are a member of the Nexus Education Schools Trust. We are a friendly and caring school with a team of enthusiastic, committed and hardworking staff.

We have approximately 305 pupils on roll in Years 3 to 6, with a 3 form entry in each year group.

We have classroom laptops and smart screens in all classes. The large playing field and our generous outside space allows our children to thrive with our various sports teams being successful in many local competitions. Combined with extra-curricular, opportunities, performances and school residential trips our school offers the chance for every child to unlock their potential.
