We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and creative Teaching Assistant who has a passion for working with children, to join our friendly, caring and dedicated team. You will need to be able to use your initiative, prepare resources and follow the careful planning given to you by the Class Teacher, Inclusion Lead or Lead professionals. The role is for a permanent, class based TA role but may include an element of small group or 1:1 support.

The start date for this role is Monday 8th May  and it will initially be in Year 2 but this is open for change at the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • an ability to work within a team with patience, humour, initiative and flexibility
  • computer and technology competence
  • a calm and caring approach
  • a drive to learn new skills and relentlessly support the changing needs of their pupils
  • good basic skills in English and Mathematics
  • experience of working as a teaching assistant or similar role
