Northfleet School for Girls is a vibrant and caring school which is on a very exciting journey. Over recent years we have been growing rapidly (53% increase in student roll since 2017).

Do you have a passion to see young people succeed in this subject?

Do you want to make a difference in helping young people recover gaps in learning due to Covid?

If you can answer yes to any of the above then this could be an exciting role for you!

We are seeking to employ an Academic Mentor in Mathematics. You will work closely with our dedicated Subject Leader to identify students with gaps in their learning across all years and then work with these students in small groups and on an individual basis to move them forward. You do not need detailed experience of the secondary curriculum, just a good background knowledge of the subject and a willingness to learn. 

The post is for 3 - 4 days per week and is term time only (39 weeks per year). The working pattern is 08:30 - 16:00 on Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 15:00 on a Friday . The working days to be agreed with the successful candidate. The role is offered on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year 2022/23.
