Information about the school

Joydens Wood Junior School is located in a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of London. We are currently a stand alone academy but are in the process of joining the Nexus Education Schools Trust. We are a friendly and caring school with a team of enthusiastic, committed and hardworking staff.

We have approximately 300 pupils on roll in Years 3 to 6, with a 3 form entry in each year group.

We have classroom laptops and smart screens in all classes. The large playing field and our generous outside space allows our children to thrive with our various sports teams being successful in many local competitions. Combined with Forest School, arts opportunities, performances and school residential trips our school offers the chance for every child to unlock their potential.

We believe in an Experience Curriculum and Values based education which nourishes and enables children to flourish, making a difference to the world through who and how they are. Our pupils are happy, safe and well-motivated, showing respect for themselves and others. They are proud of the high standards they reach and of how hard they work at school.
