The school has a dedicated computing suite with 32 computers so that each pupil is able to access the learning independently. Each lesson is supported by a teaching assistant and there is a well-established, and well-resourced, computing curriculum already in place. We have a close link with Fulston Manor who provide practical IT support.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who…

  • demonstrate outstanding classroom practice
  • are imaginative and enthusiastic, with an eagerness to bring learning alive
  • have high expectations of pupil behaviour and work, with a commitment to raising standards
  • possess excellent organisational skills, be able to work as part of a team with a positive and flexible outlook
  • have a capacity and interest to grow and develop professionally
  • are open to challenges and change when new initiatives need to be considered

In return, we can offer…

  • well-behaved pupils, who are enthusiastic about learning, polite and happy to be at school
  • large, bright classrooms with wide-ranging resources to support creative teaching
  • teams of colleagues that offer support and who share good practice
  • clearly timetabled PPA time
  • high-quality CPD
  • For NQTs, support from an experienced mentor, as well as an established year leader to support your development as you settle into the role.

This post could be suitable for either an experienced teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher who is able to consistently teach to a minimum of ‘good’ standard.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed – come and see us in action!
