Bodsham CEP School and Saltwood CEP School federated in 2009. Saltwood is a one form entry primary school and Bodsham is smaller with four classes. Both schools were graded outstanding in their last Ofsted inspection and in their last Section 48 inspection. The Federation has strengthened both schools. Teachers, are able to share best practice and work together. The work of the senior leadership team to monitor books is exemplary. Professional development for all staff is a key priority of the Federation which impacts on high quality teaching and learning. The development of leaders at all levels is a strength of the school.
