Hildenborough is set in the beautiful Kent countryside on the outskirts of the historic market town of Tonbridge on the River Medway. The town is full of history with its Norman castle and charming medieval buildings and is close to many historical attractions including Hever Castle, Knole and Ightham Mote.
With its views towards the North Downs and the towns of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Sevenoaks within easy reach, Hildenborough is a great place to live and work. It has excellent rail and road links to London and the Kent and Sussex Coast so you can easily venture across the neighbouring counties.
Tonbridge has many sporting facilities, a wealth of footpaths and a national cycle route to the historic Penshurst Place which starts from the castle. There are an increasing number of independent shops and cafes and many thriving farmers markets in Tonbridge and the surrounding villages. The EM Forster Theatre attracts a range of professional and amateur theatrical companies, and hosts comedy nights and live music events. The town is also home to many cultural events including the annual Arts Festival, a summer music festival held in the grounds of the castle and a Christmas carnival and fireworks display.
