There are regular bus services that run to West Malling and Maidstone to ensure villagers are well connected to nearby towns.
The village has an active community and regular events are held here including afternoon tea in the village hall, quizzes, jumble sales and The Addington and Trottiscliffe Flower Produce and Craft Show which is held annually. The village is also home to two floodlit tennis courts which are managed by the Trottiscliffe Tennis Club.
Trosley Country Park is located just north of the village, spreading over 160 acres into the North Downs which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna and offers numerous walking routes which give fantastic views across the Weald. The chalk grassland at Trosley is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is reported to support an array of butterflies in the summer. The historical site of Coldrum Long Barrow is also nestled in Trosley Country Park; the monument is a Neolithic Burial Chamber which is 1000 years older than Stonehenge and in the summer provides a breath-taking vantage point to watch the sunset.
