Trottiscliffe Church of England Primary School is a popular school of choice, located in an idyllic rural location near to the North Downs. The school’s picturesque location means that local housing in the village is highly sought after.
We are seeking an ambitious senior leader looking to enhance their leadership career as Headteacher of our ‘Good’ school. This will present exciting challenges; you will be required to put our small, village school on the map, provide opportunities for the school to develop and grow and focus on the staff team’s Continuing Professional Development.
The appointed candidate would be expected to continue to explore the possibility, options, benefits and disadvantages of any future formal collaboration, federation or Multi Academy Trust within the local area, and offer timely strategic advice to the Governing Body working party accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to continue strong relationships with parents as well as maintain an active and visible presence in all aspects of school life including teaching classes. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and be able to work with a small, friendly team of talented staff.
You will be well supported by both a dedicated Governing Body and a proactive PTA (Trosley School Association). The school is also part of the Pilgrims Way Partnership, a collaborative of good and outstanding schools in the local area.
Come and see for yourself why Trottiscliffe Church of England Primary School presents such a fantastic opportunity by arranging a visit with Anita, Chair of Governors.
Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
