Local Area

Luddenham is a warm and welcoming community near Faversham, on the north Kent coast. It is located in the Borough of Swale, which includes Faversham, Sheppey and Sittingbourne.

The local area has outstanding seaside resorts, beautiful beaches, gorgeous countryside bordering the South Downs, fantastic wildlife and attractive towns and villages. Swale has excellent connections to London, the rest of Kent, and Europe via the cross-channel ferries or the Channel Tunnel. There are lots of things to see and do, from attractions to the great outdoors, as well as plenty of places offering good food and drink.

Faversham

Faversham is at the heart of the Garden of England. It is home to great festivals, walks and attractions and is the oldest market town in Kent. Faversham is easily accessible, two minutes from the M2 and just over an hour from London by train. It's just 10 miles from Canterbury and 25 miles from Dover.

Faversham is home to the UK’s longest established brewery and includes other key resources such as the national fruit collection and internationally important nature reserves.
